Notice of updated limited access to Rayonier properties

POULSBO, Washington – Due to continued improvement in weather conditions and reduction in industrial fire precaution levels (IFPL) in western Oregon, Rayonier has open non-motorized access to its forestland properties on a limited basis to Hunting & Rec customers in the following counties:

  • Curry
  • Coos
  • Douglas

This notice includes all recreational license unit (RLU) holders, general hunting and non-hunting recreation permit holders in the counties listed above. It also includes permit holders in the following special permit areas:

  • Hudson Ridge
  • Davis Slough
  • Rogue River

It is of utmost importance that you exercise extreme caution when entering Rayonier property. We are allowing access onto our forestland with the following stipulations:

  • ABSOLUTELY NO CAMPFIRES
  • NO TARGET SHOOTING
  • NO SMOKING

Access to all other Rayonier forestland properties remains closed until further notice.

POULSBO, Washington – Due to improved weather conditions and a favorable 10-day forecast in the Coastal areas in western Washington, Rayonier has decided to open access to its forestland properties on a limited basis to Hunting & Rec customers in the following counties:

  • Clallam (west of Crescent Lake),
  • Jefferson (west of the Olympic mountains),
  • Grays Harbor,
  • Pacific,
  • Wahkiakum

This notice includes all recreational license unit (RLU) holders, general hunting and non-hunting recreation permit holders in the counties listed above. It also includes permit holders in the following special permit areas:

  • Deep Creek
  • Hoko-Dickey
  • Goodman
  • Promise Land
  • Salmon Creek
  • Fossil Creek

It is utmost importance that you exercise extreme caution when entering Rayonier property. We are allowing access onto our forestland with the following stipulations:

  • ABSOLUTELY NO CAMPFIRES
  • NO TARGET SHOOTING
  • NO VEHICLE TRAVEL ON OVERGROWN ROADS (A HOT MUFFLER COULD START A FIRE)
  • NO SMOKING

Washington State law requires that you have access to, or carry in your vehicle, a shovel, an axe, and either 5 gallons of water or a 2.5 lb. fire extinguisher when accessing the property during fire season.

Access to all other Rayonier forestland properties remains closed until further notice.
